Goa has just become an annual thing for me. After Moving to Bangalore, I have been missing my beach days in kerala. Ever since, I made it a point to do a beach vacation every year. Goa is just perfect for that as it just a night journey from Bangalore.
Hyderabad, the land of Nizams is famous for its architecturally beautiful forts and palaces and of course the Biriyanis.
Two weeks before, We were in Hyderabad for a couple of days and visited some of the famous attractions in the city. Some of the places were very beautiful and well maintained and on the other hand, some places were very much underwhelming with so much crowd and pathetic environment.
One of the places which I liked the most is the Golkonda Fort. So I decided to share some insight to the place and some pictures of the Fort in this post.
Travelling is the of the most satisfying things for me. Off lately,I am not travelling as often as I do.I miss my holidays and I miss writing the travel posts.
Its been almost two years that I have started living in Bangalore.I have been to Mysore 3 times since then. Its my comfort place. Its a small town with more than a few place to explore.
Hi Everyone! I am back after a short Easter break. The holidays were good. However, Mumbai during summers in not so good. I am back with so much tan, dull face and dry hair. I am already working on that.
Anyhow, Coming back to the post, two weeks before we went for a short bike ride and ended up visiting The Big Banyan Tree.I was not planning to put up a post on this. But, when I put up a picture on Instagram, so many people messaged me asking about the place.
Since, so many of you are curious about the place, I thought its worth writing about it. So here we go…
“Climb the mountains not so the world can see you, but so you can see the world”
Now, If you have read my 30 before 30 wish list, Night Trekking was one of the things I wanted to do before 30. When I have put it there on my wish list, I had no clue how it would be. Now I know it. It was an amazing experience and I am glad I did it.
I am on a travel break for this month. (Check out the previous blog to know why). But the travel bug inside me keep planning for trips for the weekend and I get reminded that we are not doing it this month.
I started my proper travelling two years ago. Before that, it was mostly the unexpected trips planned by my father which I kind of liked every time and the picnic from school/ college which I hated most of the times.
Gokarna, spread along the west coast of India , is a small town in Karnataka with the most calmest sea , beautiful beaches and temples. Gokarna is a paradise to the beach lovers and the perfect place for hippie inside you.
Last month, we had a mini beach vacation at Gokarna. It turned out to be the most relaxed and satisfying vacation I have ever had.
It is not just the beaches which makes Gokarna special. Everything looks different there. The town, temples and the people. It feels like you have time traveled to a different century all together.
So if you are looking for an unconventional holiday with no strict itinerary, Gokarna is the place to be and here are the reasons why.
Last Weekend, we decided to take a road trip to Chitradurga , which is almost 230 kms from Bangalore.
Chitradurga is known for its fort surrounded by boulders.Built in the 15th century, the fort was headquarters of Nayakas. There are seven concentric ramparts to this fort.
After watching some random Bollywood song which was shot in the Railway Museum, I have been wanting to visit one. I did some research and found out that there are two railway museum in India, one in Delhi, where the song was shot and the other one in Mysore which is a two hours ride from Bangalore.
Last weekend, we rode to Mysore and visited the museum.Let’s look into a little history of the museum. Read more
Everything get more exciting and fun, when it is less planned.Trekking to Madhugiri fort was one such thing that happened when I stayed over at a friend’s place last weekend.
It could have ended like any normal weekend with a movie and a dinner. But, then our sudden plan for a trekking made all the difference. It was so adventurous and fun that cannot be expressed in words. It might look as if I am exaggerating, but trust me I have not done anything scary like this before.
