Hey, after a long time! Currently, there is lot going on in life that I am not getting dedicated time for the blog. It might take 2 months to stabilize things, however I will pop in now and then with a blog post until then.
Summer has began officially and I love the initial phase of it where it all blooms with pretty flowers all along the drive ways and around the parks.
I love how the sky is bright and clearer.I love the intermittent summer rains, the smell of the soil after that first rain. It is so nostalgic and brings in so many childhood memories of school holidays and visiting family houses and playing and rolling in mud.
Another thing I look forward during summer are Mangoes. It is my favorite fruit in the entire world. Even though, I hate it being seasonal, I love the fact that it is exclusive for the summers. I can survive my whole summer just with mangoes.
Another fact I love about summers is that it is all about bright, easy breezy outfits. Finally, you can say good bye to your chunky knitted boring sweaters and bring in colors and prints to your wardrobe.I have already packed up all my sweaters, organised the wardrobe with all the summer dresses, tops and shorts and jumpsuits.I am planning to do a few outfit posts on some cool summer dresses, the first one being this cute fruits prints maxi dress my friend gifted me from her trip to Vietnam.
I love how the material and the print is so summer appropriate. It has a halter neck with tie up sleeve on one side and it singes at the waist perfectly. And the length is just perfect for my height. I just paired with a white sneakers. I am absolutely in love with the look.
Growing up, I have had many beautiful memories associated with summer. As I grew older, got very much concerned about going out in the sun, and missed out on many things. This time, I decided to go all out, just not care about the tan or the sweat and create some beautiful memories like the old times.
Who is with me?
