2018 started off with a slow pace. Actually, I did want to slow it down. Last year went past so fast even before I could really take in everything that happened around me.
This year, I decided to make a change in the lifestyle gradually, living in the moment, cherish every small things and start loving myself more and prioritize things well. I know it is a huge list to accomplish at a go, but I am trying to blend in everything slowly into my daily life. Who else think you need to slow down in life?
Happy New Year Everyone!!
Hope you had a great start to the New Year’s. Unlike other times, I finally made to a New Year’s party and danced my heart out. Though I got a bad cold, it was worth it. I am really motivated to kick start the New Year.
Let me know how did you welcome the new year?
Long Time No See!!
I have taken a break from everything and decided to be with my parents for two weeks. Even though the rain and the humidity appeared as a villain as always, it was indeed a much needed break.
As I Publish this, I am back in Bangalore with daily chores and struggles of deciding on what to eat on every meal. Parent’s home is always the comfort place.. Aah. Anyway, let’s get back to work!
Happy Monday Everyone!!
Surprisingly, I woke up with a clear head and a refreshed mind today, unlike other Monday mornings.
The weather in Bangalore has been so good with occasional rain.( lucky that we don’t have flood or power shortage in our place). This gave me a good excuse to cozy up in the bed for the weekend and not doing anything but eating all day and night which gave me all the energy to kick start a new week. 🙂
Hey Everyone, Hope you are doing good and is all set for the weekend.
I have no plans for this weekend other than running some errands, shopping some gifts for the family and a movie maybe. Well, this seems like a lot of plans though. 🙂
Anyway, In this post I would like to talk about how my take on colors for my clothing changed drastically over the last year.
Last weekend went pretty well. I must say, June is a pretty stressful month with so many important birthdays including mine.Stressful in deciding on all the gifts, deciding on whether to celebrate the birthday with friends or family and deciding on how to throw a surprise birthday party though I don’t like to have any surprise for my own birthday.
Mother’s day is right around the corner and what better day to pamper your mother with love and gifts and make her feel special.
I have always been a daddy’s lil girl and whenever some one asked me whom do I love the most, I always said Dad without any regret. The reason that she is very strict and beat me for my naughtiness. Growing up, I started being close to my mother, not that I am less close to my father. But, living away from them made me realize how much I love and miss them.
The best part of my everyday routine is the long one hour phone call with my mother. We talk about the movies, the new recipes she is trying, how the dogs are well behaved or ill mannered and the list goes on. We gossip about people, we laugh out loud and we talk like lovers for hours some days.
Ok, I am getting carried away and emotional.
I am not a DIY person and I always like to gift something which is useful and appropriate for the receiver’s interests.
So Here are some gifting ideas for all of you who are celebrating mother’s day.
Can you believe it’s already May. Time is flying real fast and this month started with a long weekend which was quite exciting. How did your long weekend go??
Mine was a pretty chilled one.
