The Glorious Golkonda

Hyderabad, the land of Nizams is famous for its architecturally beautiful forts and palaces and of course the Biriyanis.

Two weeks before, We were in Hyderabad for a couple of days and visited some of the famous attractions in the city. Some of the places were very beautiful and well maintained and on the other hand, some places were very much underwhelming with so much crowd and pathetic environment.

Places to Visit in Mysore

Travelling is the of the most satisfying things for me. Off lately,I am not travelling as often as I do.I miss my holidays and I miss writing the travel posts.

Ooty &Coonor- Day 2&3!!!

Day 2 at Ooty started off really well. The hotel arranged a private tour to Coonor  and we were glad that we don’t need to take an effort to do it all by ourselves. We got ready by 9 and had our complimentary breakfast and was all set for the tour.

Weekend Getaway- Ooty &Coonor!!!

It’s so obvious that  long weekends are not complete without a trip. This time, for the Independence day weekend, we planned a trip to Ooty-Coonoor hill station.

If you have done your college in any part of South India,you might have already visited this place for sure.However, I could hardly recollect any memories related to this place from my college time.

Ooty and Coonor are two major hill stations in the Nilgiri District.It is one of the most popular tourist destinations  in South India.It is less than 300 kms from Bangalore which makes it a perfect weekend getaway. Read more

A walk through the History-Hampi!!!

This has been an overdue post from June. Ever since after my Hampi Visit, I was planning to do this post. But, I could not complete and publish it for many reason. So I thought why not do it now. It’s better late than never. 🙂

Hampi is famous for its historical importance. There are various magnificent monolithic sculptures and important building and monuments preserved  and maintained well.  Here I thought of sharing the historical structures which we have seen during our visit  with its importance. This could help anyone who visit Hampi some idea of each monuments. These cannot be missed during your visit in Hampi.
