Long Time No See!!
I have taken a break from everything and decided to be with my parents for two weeks. Even though the rain and the humidity appeared as a villain as always, it was indeed a much needed break.
As I Publish this, I am back in Bangalore with daily chores and struggles of deciding on what to eat on every meal. Parent’s home is always the comfort place.. Aah. Anyway, let’s get back to work!
I am not a person who is up-to-date with all the trends. It’s hard to keep up with all the new trends coming up every two days. So I always stick to the ones which always suits my personal style and my comfort.
In this post, let’s talk one of such trends ” Dhoti Pants”. Even since, I have spotted this trend, I know I should definitely try it out.
I have styled my pants in two different ways. One with a plain black spaghetti top . I accessorized it with a beaded long chain and a scarf.
For the second look, I have paired the pants with a green Aztec printed crop top with a pair of tan ballerina and sunglasses.
The first look I created for a beach vacation as the spaghetti top worked well for the humid weather.
I wore the second look on a day to explore a new place. I wore it the entire day and it was comfortable as ever.
I kept both the look casual and comfortable as I styled both of them on the vacation days and sticked to my mantra ” Travel with Comfort”
However there are endless option to spice it up. You can pair it with T shirt and ankle boots to slay a “Bawse” look, add silver statement jewelry to give it a bohemian vibe or a colorful tunic to give an ethnic touch. The list is endless. It is one of the versatile pieces you should have on your wardrobe.
Hope you liked how I styled my dhoti pants. Let me know how you would like to style one of these. 🙂
